Skin Boosters" are aesthetic medical treatments aesthetic medicine to boost radiance and deeply rehydrate the skin.
They consist of multiple micro-injections into the dermis. These micro-injections are similar to mesotherapy: a hyaluronic acid with strong moisturizing and anti-oxidant properties is injected via a micro-needle at the dermal-epidermal junction.

Skin Boosters can be used as a preventive measure in young patients from the age of 30 to moisturize their skin and delay the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
These aesthetic treatments are ideal for mature skin that's wrinkled, folded, slack or dull, or for skin that's been exposed to tobacco, damaged by the sun or subjected to hormonal variations. Skin aging leads to a loss of tone and density, and a Skin Booster treatment boosts collagen and elastin synthesis to bring structure to this type of skin.
Exposed, fragile areas showing signs of dehydration, such as the face, neck, décolleté and hands, can be treated with this type of injection.
How does a Skin Booster treatment work?
The injection protocol varies according to skin type. One injection per year for prevention, and one injection every 6 to 9 months for more mature skin.
Allergan's Juvéderm® VOLITE is injected deep into the dermis, and has a unique mechanism of action.
This aesthetic treatment is painless, although you may wish to apply an EMLA-type anaesthetic cream one hour before treatment. Skin Boosters injections are performed by Dr Christelle Santini in her office.
The novelty of this mesotherapy or Skin Booster treatment is that a single session is all it takes to achieve lasting results for up to 9 months. This eliminates the need for multiple sessions, which are often time-consuming and cause side-effects such as haematomas and oedemas ....

Bonsoir, les cicatrices d’acné sur le visage me laissent la peau sensible et facilement irritée, ce qui provoque des démangeaisons et des rougeurs. Cela rend difficile pour moi de prendre soin de ma peau et la laisse irritée et fatiguée c’est pourquoi j’ai opté de faire le skinbooster pour améliorer la texture de ma peau et réduire l’apparence des cicatrices.
